OMG! What's wrong with the way apple's are currently packaged i.e. as is. Why does an apple need to be sliced and packaged at all? I have a 5 and 2 year old who happily eat apples without needing to cut them up. This kind of needless "innovation" to make our lives "easier" annoys the hell out of me.

It seems that the "in thing" at the moment is Packaged Sliced Apples. Why can't people just buy Apples and slice them, it barely takes a minute. Are humans so lazy we can't even slice our own Apples? What kind of examples are we setting for our children really? They are not learning to eat healthy, they are learning that all foods come from a packet. Have you people thought about all the rubbish you are creating, not to mention all the wasted resources that go into making the packaging in the first place. And as for all these organic brands, packaged heavilly like all the other brands. I walk through the supermarket now and I can't find any products that are Green.
